Photo-based art allows me to explore experiences and moods I can't define in any other medium. I do fine art photography, conceptual photography, and portraits with a quirky twist. I'm interested in people, life, and stories—but I like to bring them into a unique world. I use little notes from life, observations, ordinary things, old tales, and hardships as inspiration. The camera is my tool to tell a story, find clarity in a time full of disasters and uncertainty, and keep myself curious. It helps me to heal when I feel disconnected. It gives me joy when I've got a lot going on. I hope to connect with others going through their journey. Despite the singular events in our lives, there is something universal in our path. I often search that thin line between fact and fiction because reality feels different for everyone. As time is relentless, I simultaneously work on diverse themes and series and take advantage of the season cycle. I'm a working mom, designer, and solopreneur, too, and it takes me often several years to finish one project–therefore many of my series are works in progress. Whenever I can, I move them forward, one step at a time.
