Main logo opener

The opener is used every time when Urheilustudio starts. Urheilustudio is a live broadcast program that is broadcasted nationally in Finland from November to March and has an audience from 300.000 up to 1.4 million viewers. The first season was in W18/19. Urheilustudio showtime is every weekend, Saturday and Sunday, from morning to evening. Yle TV2 & Yle Areena. Key task to build a strong brand, to allure new audiences and keep them in the channel between sport competitions.

Photos from the studio just before the program started in 30th November 2018. Examples how the print and video graphics were seen. I designed many different video graphics for the studio (that are not seen here), because it’s a long program with a duration about 4-5 months. Also, some of the loops have a day and night mode, because the program is seen on mornings and evenings every weekend until March 2019. Studio setup design by Leena Tiihonen.

The Urheilustudio graphic guideline is in a way quite rough and superficial, because it’s a help tool for many people who have to work in a very fast schedule mainly in video editing and live graphics for broadcast and social media marketing etc. and need to go to the point immediately. 26 pages.

Stills from Urheilustudio studio loops, insert motion openers, logo openers. Every sport type has it’s own animation from the logo related to the sport.
Every lifestyle program insert has it’s own small element related to the program. There are several loops made for the studio and can be changed in different day time and for different occasion. Some loops can be used in social media marketing etc. The idea is, that there are basic elements that can be varied depending what is needed.
